Workshop Overview
Instructional coaching is a cornerstone of building teacher effectiveness. It provides a supportive environment where educators can strengthen their expertise and refine their instructional practices.
In this session, participants will learn how to foster a coaching culture and mindset within their school or district—even in settings without formally designated coaches. Through short videos of classroom instruction, they will actively experience the coaching process, explore practical tools, and practice feedback protocols.
Additionally, participants will examine the Marzano model of instructional rounds, gaining insights into how this approach extends and enhances instructional coaching practices. By doing so, they will see how it can be scaled to support all teachers across a school or district.
